Divi Carina Bay Beach Resort
Divi Carina Bay Beach Resort & Casino officially reopened its doors in spring 2021 after a complete renovation. It is one of the only all-inclusive resorts on St. Croix Island. This is an adults-only experience located right on the beach.
The new renovation showcases a decidedly Caribbean-chic vibe with an expansive beach and renovated main pool area, unique dining options, and various activities. The fantastic thing about this refreshed resort is that all the rooms face the sea. The guest rooms’ new look is brighter and lighter, with light blue touches and cream-colored woods. All rooms also have private balconies or patios. Some suites have a second bathroom.
The resort has various market options, from casual poolside grills to elevated Italian and serving Asian and Caribbean-inspired cuisine. Many activities are included in the room rate, as well as non-motorized water sports, mini golf, a driving range, a 24-hour fitness center, a pool, tennis, and more.

Bolongo Bay Beach Resort
When you live in Bolongo Bay on St. Thomas, you truly live on a piece of U.S. Virgin Island history. Not only is it one of the best all-inclusive resorts in the U.S. Virgin Islands, but it also happens to be the first. The resort opened in 1989, and although it was briefly closed in 2017 after Hurricane Irma, it has been in operation ever since.
The bright, clean, Caribbean-style resort has rooms that open directly onto the beach—25 of them, to be exact. It has 39 additional ocean-view rooms on the second and third floors, each with private balconies. We hear that you can even see St. Croix from afar if the day is clear. If you’re on a budget, you can choose one of 10 pricey rooms with views of the garden.
Rooms have tile floors and cream-colored walls, with traditional dark wood furniture and pops of orange for color. The rooms aren’t all that different, but the space and the views set them apart.
Speaking of location, Bolongo Bay uses this address to its advantage. The front of the resort is 1,000 feet of prime beachfront. Guests can access reef snorkeling, paddleboarding, windsurfing, kayaking, sailing adventures, scuba diving, and more. You can also arrange a sail on Heavenly Days, a 53-foot catamaran.
Dining options include the poolside Oasis Restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A second pool restaurant is available, called Iggy’s.

Located on Water Bay, Margaritaville Vacation Club St Thomas offers a relaxing experience that will make any parrot head feel at home. Just grab the nearest hammock, kick off those flip-flops, and remember it’s always 5 a.m. somewhere.

Sugar Bay Resort & Spa
The Sugar Bay Resort & Spa, which reopened in 2019, is undergoing massive renovations after Hurricane Irma in 2017. It was scheduled to open in 2019 but remains closed until further notice. Traditionally, it has been one of the best all-inclusive resorts in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Located on St. Thomas, the airy, upscale beachfront resort welcomes guests to a three-story lobby splashed in bold blues. The rooms are light and tropical, with wood-colored floors, blue walls, and dark wood furniture. The rooms are spread over seven categories. The first four are 475 square feet of space. The Premium Ocean Honeymoon Suites are prime rooms with 800 square feet, a king bed, and gorgeous waterfront views.
Regarding picture-perfect all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean, Sugar Bay Resort & Spa does not disappoint. The resort has seven restaurants, two beaches, a spa, a kids’ club, two pools, and a waterfall. The beach is smaller than you might expect at a resort with 300 rooms, but ample seating means everyone has a place to relax.
The resort also has its ferry that operates a service en route to St. John’s. The pool complex has a hot tub and plenty of space to lounge.
