Facts of US Presidents

The office of the US President was started in 1789, and since then, 45 personalities have served as the President of the United States.

George Washington was the man who was honored as the first President of the United States of America.

Grover Cleveland is the only President to have held the office for two non-sequential terms.

William Henry Harrison was the youngest acting president as he died just 31 days after taking responsibility.

Franklin D. Roosevelt became the longest-serving President of the United States, serving more than two terms. He held this position for over 12 years and died during the early years of his fourth term.

The last presidential election in 2020 was the 59th presidential election, in which Joseph Robinette Biden won the election. Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. is currently serving as the President of the United States of America.

Eligibility Criteria to become US President

A person who wishes to serve as the President of the United States must meet the following three essential characteristics:

  • The person must be a native of the United States.
  • The person must have been a resident of the US for at least 14 years.
  • The age of the person should be 35 years.

11th James K. Polk

12th Zachary Taylor

Whig Party Zachary Taylor was appointed the 12th President of the United States and served from 1849 until he died in 1850.

13th Millard Fillmore
